“Jolene” is the title of the song originaly performed by American singer-songwriter Dolly Rebecca Parton, now performed by Glee cast Shannon Beiste, portrayed by Dot-Marie Jones as football coach for the seventh episode of Glee entitled “I Kissed a Girl”. This song is currently at number twenty six on iTunes Top 100 songs. Glee is an American musical comedy-drama television series which focuses on the glee club New Directions. The show was produced by Fox and created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan, and features many cover versions of songs sung on-screen by the characters.
